Western Reserve Grace Church
Western Reserve Grace Church in Macedonia, Ohio is planning a large expansion to house its growing congregation. Doty & Miller Architects was hired to implement the vision with expansion drawings for an addition to accommodate this next generation of growth. The project involves a multipurpose worship and recreation space, a new fellowship room with a café and bookstore, and new facilities for children’s Sunday school rooms and a teen center. This contemporary congregation will engage the use of multimedia equipment for the production of music and video, which will weave the spiritual message throughout a variety of church services and programs.
Windows On The River
The Windows Banquet Facilities at the Powerhouse on the west bank of the Flats is expanding. Doty & Miller Architects has been retained to design a new 200 seat banquet facility at Windows on the River. This new banquet facility will provide high quality, traditional, interior space for weddings, receptions, and business conferences and will enhance the already successful Windows Banquet Complex.
University Park YMCA
Located prominently at the corner of East Market Street and Adolph Avenue on the Summa Hospital campus in Akron, Ohio the University Park YMCA will serve as a recreation center housing a gymnasium with elevated running track, and an aquatics center with lap lanes and leisure pool. This facility will also feature an aerobics studio, fitness center, racquetball courts, a child watch area and other multi-purpose spaces. In addition to these traditional YMCA functions, the University Park YMCA will have a Physical Therapy wing run by Summa Health System.
