This 1880's era dormitory, the oldest on the Hiram College campus, was revered by generations of alumni. However the front porch had been removed and the chimney had fallen in, destroying portions of the building interior. Restoration has given the building a bright new life. The restorations included a new front porch complete with swing, new energy saving windows and high efficiency mechanical systems. Enhanced features for the students included computer network connections in each dormitory room, handicap access which was not formerly provided, and a new attic level study loft.
