The project consists of a major expansion and remodeling of an existing parochial school built in 1949. The expanding student population and enhanced curriculum required a larger facility and updating of basic kitchen, toilet rooms and classroom spaces. The addition includes a large gymnasium/multipurpose space and modern classrooms.

The limited size of the site surrounded by a built-out residential neighborhood prevented construction of a conventional one story gym and classroom addition. Through creative planning and using the latest construction technology to isolate sound transfer, the new gym was located above the new classrooms.

The project also included a new elevator, locker rooms, classroom renovations and a new commercial kitchen for school and community meals and events.
