The shared vision of this project is to assist in creating an ecological community through a balance of public and private spaces, controlled density and scale. The structures will be sympathetic to the context of the existing neighborhood. The resulting project will be constructed using methods and materials consistent with low energy usage, natural sustainability, and environmental health.

The relationships within the community beyond this project site are critical to the success of the entire venture. To that end, we have located the public green space at the center of the block, creating a terminus for the vista from the walk up Madison Avenue. This small 'pocket park' reinforces the beneficial links to public transportation and the established pedestrian route.
